The Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute prepares participants to lead culture change, reaching beyond their chapter and campus and into their community. Executive-level alumni mentors work closely with participants, teaching them how to engage in challenging and meaningful conversations — a crucial skill not often taught on campus.
Ruck Scholars are selected through a competitive application process, and they leave the institute with a better understanding of their own leadership styles and a new and improved vision for the future. Since its launch in 1999, the Ruck Leadership Institute has been based on the world-renowned book, The Leadership Challenge, co-authored by Brother Barry Posner, California-Santa Barbara ’70.
For over 20 years, the Ruck Leadership Institute has been SigEp’s landmark leadership program and a sought-after experience for undergraduates. SigEps from across the country come together to learn from each other and from incredibly successful alumni, exploring and developing personal leadership skills.
